#2 Age isn't just a number
Before Real fans reach out for a pan to beat the life out of me, I deserve a chance to make my point.
Ronaldo isn't getting better with every passing day. The player is 33 now and has experienced a certain drop in few essential attributes which have transformed him from the best footballer to the best goalscorer.
He is no more a player who can be expected to rip the full-backs apart or beat the marker with sensational moves. Although his heading and shooting abilities are top class, he often proves to be a liability for the team when in possession.
Dispossessing and frustrating him are one of the easiest jobs on the pitch. In no way is his class is being denigrated here but little can be done about his age now.
The forward perhaps needs to move in a league relatively less competitive. A move to France, Italy or Far-east could be beneficial for him.
Los Blancos and Cristiano Ronaldo have conquered everything there is in the company of one another. It's time to let go, now.
