#1 Consistency
The Reds play brilliantly against the top teams ever since Jurgen Klopp arrived at the club, but the encouraging results against the big sides are often immediately followed by disappointments against smaller teams.
The Merseyside Reds don't compete against smaller teams with the same energy, intensity, and resiliency that they do against the big guns. They lost points against all three of the relegated teams last season, which was a major stumbling block for them.
However, things are changing for them this season and the Reds are finally finding consistency in their performances. Liverpool won 13 out of their opening 16 games and are the only unbeaten side in the English Premier League this season.
They successfully beat all the teams that they faced outside the 'top-6' and are managing to grab at least a point against their title rivals.
