#2 The midfield
The summer signings for Liverpool this season has been all about the midfield. With Naby Keita taking the legendary number 8 shirt, once worn by none other than the maestro Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool midfield has shifted into a more balanced and consistent equilibrium.
Georginio Wijnaldum's transition into a defensive midfielder has been one of the key reasons for the Liverpool midfield being extremely dominant this season.
With James Milner who is seen to be an aggressor, either acting as a number 10 or a false 9, Liverpool is doing something completely different this season - allowing the players to explore their own capabilities.
We experienced the inclusion of Jordan Henderson in The Reds' clash against Leicester City, which was another gamble put forward by Klopp, but what really made the difference for the Liverpool side was the fact that the combination of Wijnaldum, Milner, and Keita is something that has bought fluidity and flexibility into the Liverpool midfield.
By adapting the natural '3' in the midfield, they tend to play a more box to box and holding midfielder consistency, allowing the attackers do their jobs well.
