#3 Liverpool's pragmatic approach and healthy lead at the end of the first half saw them secure another win
Liverpool upped the tempo within the first ten minutes, and they got some really good opportunities, out of which the first two were missed by Salah and Firmino. They were lucky the third time around as Robertson's buccaneering run saw him assist Mane for the opening goal of the afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp's side calmly dealt with Leicester's pressure following Mane's goal and effectively shifted through the gears as they looked to save energy and hit the hosts on the counter.
Leicester carved out a few chances of their own but found themselves with plenty to do in the second half after Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool a healthy 2-0 lead at half time. The second half saw Leicester dominate proceedings and get a goal back after Ghezzal scored following Alisson's sloppiness.
