3. Solskjaer now knows his best eleven
Manchester United have chopped and changed the team far too many times this season and it was no surprise to see them struggle to impose themselves in matches they were expected to win. Their inability to field the same time week in week outplayed a huge part in their lethargic start to the season.
But on Saturday night at the Etihad Stadium, Solskjaer fielded his best possible eleven bar Pogba who quite naturally would trade places with Jesse Lingard. The return of Martial who is United's focal point in their attack was a welcome boost. Their defence picks itself and Solskjaer seems to have found a perfect balance between midfield and attack.
James and Rashford possess scintillating pace down the flanks and once United can put the lesser sides to the sword they will surely finish in the top four considering their impressive record against the traditional big six teams.
