#2 World class goal-keeper, Hugo Lloris
Hugo Loris has now firmly established himself as probably one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time in the record books. Being 6ft 2 inch in height, Loris has one of the safest pairs of hands due to his reflexes and the ability to stretch himself as wide as possible to stop the ball from going into the net. He is also good at communicating with his defense and is also regarded as a sweeper-keeper.
Having kept 3 clean sheets at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Les Bleus skipper played an influential part in winning the 2018 World Cup for them. He had his best season at Spurs in 2016-17, having kept 15 clean sheets and helped Tottenham in reaching their greatest ever defensive record of giving away just 26 goals in the Premier League season.
Hence, having a goal-keeper of Lloris's stature makes Tottenham one of the powerhouses of the Premier League.
