#2 Max Aarons (Norwich City)
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Norwich City's Max Aarons to replace Hector Bellerin this window.
The 21-year old joined Norwich's youth academy from Luton Town in 2016 and worked his way through the club's youth ranks to make his senior debut in 2018. Aarons has made 122 league appearances for the Canaries so far and played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League last season.
Blessed with electric pace, Aarons is a dynamic full-back who contributes heavily in both attack and defence. He scored two goals and assisted twice last season while also making 0.7 tackles and 1.8 clearances per game.
Aarons was also included in the EFL Championship Team of the Season for his performances last campaign and the Young Player of the Season award.
#1 Aaron Ramsdale (Sheffield United)
Arsenal have recently been linked with Sheffield United's Aaron Ramsdale. The Gunners reportedly want another keeper to compete with Bernd Leno for the number one spot at the club.
Despite Sheffield United's relegation from the Premier League, Ramsdale enjoyed an excellent 2020-21 campaign and was named the club's Player of the Season. He featured in all of the Blades' 38 league games last season, keeping five clean sheets.
Ramsdale made 147 saves in the English top-flight this past season, a stat which was only bettered by West Brom's Sam Johnstone. His performances also caught the attention of England manager Gareth Southgate and he was named as a replacement for injured Dean Henderson during Euro 2020.
