#3 Aleksandr Golovin
Aleksandr Golovin is a Russian attacking midfielder who plays for CSKA Moscow. At only 22 years old, he represents a promising prospect for Chelsea to get their hands on.
In the 2017-18 season, Golovin scored 5 goals for his club in the Russian Premier League. Golovin is a wonderful dribbler of the ball and is good at going past players in 1v1 situations. He also possesses an eye for a pass and it came to the fore in the season gone by, where he popped up with 3 assists as well.
When the World Cup rolled in, all eyes were on Dzagoev to provide the creative spark for the hosts. Unfortunately, he got injured in the first game. The onus for crating chances fell on Golovin and he didn’t disappoint. He finished the World Cup with a respectable tally of a goal and two assists.
Throughout the World Cup, Golovin went past players with ease and impressed onlookers with his direct running. In addition to this, he is adaptable and comfortable in playing anywhere across the front line. He seems to have all the ingredients to be a good signing for Sarri and Chelsea.
With age on his side, Golovin would relish the opportunity to move to Chelsea. For Chelsea, Golovin has all the potential to be a mainstay for them over the next few years. If they are able to land Golovin, it would be a very sound investment indeed.
