#2 Lukaku and Martial should target the right side of Liverpool's defence
Since the acquisition of Van Dijk, the Liverpool defence has been strengthened considerably. The eventual arrival of Alisson Becker between the sticks has seen the Reds fully evolve from the soft touch of a few seasons ago to a resolute defensive unit.
However, Liverpool have an injury crisis at the back. Injuries to Joe Gomez, Matip and Trent Alexander Arnold has left them threadbare in defence. Klopp may choose to field Milner, Fabinho or any of the youngsters at right back with Dejan Lovren occupying the other centre back position besides Van Dijk.
Lovren has struggled for fitness since his summer heroics at the World Cup. Clyne has also had his fitness issues while Milner and Fabinho are not really right backs although they can do a job in that position.
Mourinho must, therefore, target the right side of the Liverpool defence as the side his team will get the most joy from. Martial must be encouraged to isolate whoever plays right back and give the individual a torrid game. Lukaku should also look to drift to the space between Lovren and the fullback as he will get more change from them than from Van Dijk and Robertson.
