#1 Casemiro's arrival changed the game
Dani Cabellos started the game with high expectations, however, the Spaniard didn't prove to be useful during the match. Casemiro's absence was being clearly felt as Luka Modric and Toni Kroos couldn't deal with both, attack and defensive duties, at once.
Though, Kroos was seen dropping down towards the back-four in order to nullify Casemiro's absence. But when Kroos was being a part of the attacking build-up, it opened the midfield and created many counter-attacking opportunities for Bilbao.
Casemiro's arrival gave stability to the Los Blancos' midfield. Along with playing his defensive role, the Brazilian also helped in the attacking build-up and linked well with fellow-Brazilian, Marcelo Vieira.
