Florentino Perez landed World Cup Golden Glove winner Thibaut Courtois for £35 million, somewhat of a steal in the current market clime.
However, along with Courtois arrives the confusion over Navas' future. It's not easy to pick one from two exceptional goalkeepers. Julen Lopetegui seems to have decided that Navas will be the number one goalkeeper ahead of Courtois who hasn't made his debut since joining.
The 26 year old Belgian goalkeeper is still waiting to make his debut for Los Blancos. Earlier, Julen Lopetegui stated that he would manage both the goalkeepers by providing each sufficient playing time.
During the 2013-14 season, Real Madrid had a similar situation as Carlo Ancelotti figured out a way to settle the debate between Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez once and for all. Casillas was used in Copa Del Rey and UCL matches, whereas Lopez was playing in LaLiga. Something similar could be done in the case of Navas and Courtois.
