#3 Xherdan Shaqiri
Xherdan Shaqiri is a Swiss professional football player, who plays as a winger for Liverpool and the Swiss national team. He started his career at FC Basel, winning three Swiss Super League titles, before moving to Bayern Munich, where he received eight domestic and international honours, despite playing very less.
In January 2015, he moved to Inter Milan for €15 million and later to Stoke City for a club record of £12 million. Shaqiri has been a regular player for the Swiss national team since 2010, earning a total of 70 caps. He represented the nation in 2010, 2014, 2018 Fifa World Cups as well as Uefa Euro 2016.
Liverpool signed Shaqiri from Stoke City at £14 million, which is relatively cheap, given the huge quality he has. This signing could be a good value for money.
Liverpool's Mane, Salah and Firminio scored a total of 91 goals in all competitions last term. When any one of the three players misses out, Liverpool is not as much as effective as when these three players play together.
Shaqiri would add depth to wide areas. Shaqiri can feature on both the left and the right side of a front three, which will be a huge advantage for Klopp's Liverpool. Liverpool needs kind of player who can not only play on the flanks, but he will also score a lot of goals. He has shown that he is capable of scoring some of the best goals. Shaqiri is just 26 which further adds more strength to Liverpool's attack.
