#2 Andre Schurrle to Fulham (2-year loan)
A marquee capture for the newly promoted Cottagers, Andre Schurrle's arrival in West London is one of the more surprising transfers of the week. Signed on a longterm, 2-year loan deal, Schurrle is a former World Cup winner with Germany in 2014 and an excellent signing for Fulham.
The German had previously spent 18 months at West London rivals Chelsea before moving to Wolfsburg for €32 million in 2015 and then on to Dortmund a season and a half later for €30 million. However, the 27-year-old forward has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Westfalenstadion this season.
During his previous stint in the Premier League, Schurrle played 44 games and scored 11 times, winning the league title with Chelsea in 2014/15. He boasts over 50 caps and 22 goals for Germany, although he was excluded from their squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Deployable as a winger or second striker, Schurrle will provide additional firepower to an excellent Fulham side which also signed the highly sought-after Ivorian midfielder, Jean Michael Seri for around €28 million.
With these two signings in tow, the Cottagers are certainly one to watch this upcoming Premier League season.
