#2 Adam Masina - Key to Watford's 2021-22 plans
Signed from Bologna in 2018, Adam Masina has been one of the standout players for Watford during the 2020-21 season.
The 27-year old played 25 league games during the recently concluded campaign, making 1.6 tackles, 1.5 interceptions and 2.7 clearances per game. He helped the club keep 15 clean sheets, while also registering two important goals.
The Morocco international is the only Watford player to be included in the EFL Championship Team of the Season and his form will play a key role in the Hornets' success next season.
#3 João Pedro - Watford's first line of defense
João Pedro has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Watford and established himself among the key players at the club in the absence of the injured Troy Deeney.
A centre-forward by trade, Pedro wrought havoc in the Championship with his pace and trickery. He played 38 league games during the recently concluded season, scoring nine and assisting two goals.
Apart from his attacking exploits, the 19-year-old also serves as the first line of defense for his team and has averaged one tackle per game in the league.
The Brazilian youngster's performances have reportedly earned him a new long-term contract with the club and he could play a key role in Watford's success for years to come.
