34th Federation Cup - Qualifiers: Six teams to participate

The qualifiers for the 34th Federation Cup will be held from September 11 to 16 at the JRD Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand with only six teams set to take part as the I-League relegated Chirag United Kerala opted out. In Group 1 Mohammedan Sporting Club, Aizawl FC and HAL SC would face each other with the group winners qualifying for the tournament proper in which they would as Qualifier 1 play in Group B alongside Churchill Brothers SC, Air India and Mohun Bagan AC.

In Group 2 Kalighat Milan Sangha, Royal Wahingdoh FC and Vasco SC would face each other with the group winners qualifying for the tournament proper in which they would as Qualifier 2 play in Group C alongside Sporting Clube de Goa, ONGC and East Bengal Club.

The 34th Federation Cup proper will be held from September 19 to 30 simultaneously in Siliguri (West Bengal) and Ranchi (Jharkhand).
