Joe Willock, just like Reiss Nelson, had an impressive debut season in the 2017/18 campaign. He played regularly in the Cup Competitions, and he even played on a few occasions in the Premier League. This included a brave performance against Newcastle United.

The brother of Benfica players Chris Willock looked set for a great season. It has not been the case however so far. He was barely included in the Preseason tour and he is yet to play in a competitive match. This is not all. He was a regular in first-team training last season, but this season he is training with the reserves.
It looks like going out on loan would be the best option. Wolves have shown interest, although he would not be guaranteed game time. It looks as though he may sadly have to stay at Arsenal till January.
