Even with two years left on his current deal, it’s safe to say that Jenkinson has little to no future at Arsenal.

Like Campbell, Jenkinson has also had several loan spells. The right-back has gone on to play for West Ham and more recently, Birmingham on loan.

Things couldn’t have gone worse on his Birmingham debut against Reading when he dislocated his shoulder after only 32 minutes on the field. In his time with the side, Jenkinson has only made nine appearances.

A move away from Arsenal seems like a logical move at this point in his career and if the rejection from Emery’s Singapore tour squad means anything, it’s likely he will make the move.
