#3. Baba Rahman
Baba Rahman is another Chelsea player with huge potential but one that was never given enough time at the Premier League club to prove himself. A lot was expected from the Ghanaian after he moved to Chelsea for a rumored transfer fee of around £22 million, but after one season in which he made a total of 23 appearances, he was loaned out to Schalke and has been shipped out on loan every season ever since.
His loan spell at Schalke did not go the way he wanted with the left back struggling to get regular playing time with the German team as well. During his two-year loan spell at Schalke, he only managed to make 22 appearances and his 3rd loan spell was disrupted by injury.
Rahman decided to move to Ligue 1 club Reims in January 2019 and he finally seems to be getting his career back on track with the French club. In the 10 games he has played for them, Reims have lost only 3 games and they currently sit in 9th position in the Ligue 1 table.
With Chelsea's transfer ban in effect till January 2020, Rahman might get a chance to prove himself during pre-season this summer, but with Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri fighting for that left back spot as well, he might not get as much playing time as he wants.
At 24, Rahman is just getting to his best and after finally finding his form and after coming back from a serious injury, he will not want to spend time on the bench and finding a new club this summer would be perfect for him as he looks to fulfill his potential.
