Dejan Lovren's stint at Liverpool has been full of ups and downs. While the latter usually pips the former, Lovren's heroics against Borussia Dortmund in 2015-16 Europa League's knockout game is arguably his greatest point in Liverpool career.
Lovren is one of the most error-prone defenders in Premier League which is why some of the Liverpool supporters despise him like nobody else. Dejan Lovren is one defender you can never rely upon and there were countless occasions last season when Joel Matip had to cover up for Lovren's shambolic errors.
As soon as the transfer window opened, Liverpool has been in talks to buy yet another player from Southampton which is Virgil Van Dijk. Liverpool's £60 million bid for Van Dijk didn't prove to be successful enough as the player is still at Southampton.
This only shows that Jurgen Klopp has consistency on his mind, which is quite obvious and necessary if you are going to play in Champions League.
