Against West Ham, Solskjaer will be looking for his first away win since March of this year

Angel Gomes deserves more chances in the No. 10 position
Manchester United’s failure to secure an attacking midfielder has come back to haunt them this season. At the start of the season, when Solskjaer opted for Jesse Lingard in the No. 10 role, the Red Devils appeared lacklustre in attack and their moves were predictable. After the Norwegian replaced the Englishman with Juan Mata, things have looked a bit better, but the Spaniard might not be the perfect fit for the No. 10 role. This is because Mata no longer has the legs to sustain Solskjaer’s heavy pressing football. Enter, Angel Gomes.
The youngster was impressive against Astana in midweek, working well with his midfield and frontline. He was quite active in the final third, using the ball very well and also switching play to bring the full-backs into the game. Gomes’ quick feet also won United quite a few free-kicks in dangerous areas and the teenager deserves more game time in this team. Solskjaer could at least use him off the bench against West Ham United.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
