The current Spurs center-back has been frequently linked to a possible move to the Red Devils in recent transfer windows. It comes as no surprise that his name has been cropping up in many places with reference to the January transfer window.

The Belgian’s contract will expire at the end of this season. So, he will come at a bargain price. United’s pursuit for this talented defended ended with empty hands last summer. You can expect the club to go all out to secure his services this winter.

The 29-year-old can be a valuable asset to the defense which has already leaked 29 goals this season. Not to mention, he has had 97 matches under his belt for his current side.

A center back with valuable EPL experience is exactly what United need at the present. With Toby not likely to renew his contract with Spurs, it becomes increasingly likely to see him in a United shirt very soon.
