3. Robert Snodgrass
To put it bluntly: Robert Snodgrass is not Premier League standard. After having joined West Ham in the summer of 2016 for a staggering £10.2m, Snodgrass made a total of 15 appearances for the Hammers in the Premier League, with his only impact being the two assists he racked up.
Understandably, Snodgrass was shipped out on loan the following season to Aston Villa in the Championship. This is a league that's much more suited to his ability and it showed. He featured in 43 out of 46 games, scoring seven goals and assisting a respectable 14. Aston Villa reached the Play-Off Finals that same year, but were beaten by Fulham and denied promotion to the Premier League.
It's clear that Snodgrass plays his best football in a lower league, so it would be both Snodgrass' and West Ham's best interests that he be moved on this summer, as he doesn't meet the requirements to be a Hammers player.
Where might Robert Snodgrass go?
Steve Bruce is keen on bringing Snodgrass back to Villa Park for next season, according to BirminghamMail. If this move was to happen, it would be great for Snodgrass in terms of his career because, as we all know, he'd only languish on the bench or in the reserves if he was to return to West Ham for another season.
