Aaron Ramsey's contract expires in the summer of 2019. After having seen the transfer talks being broken, Ramsey is set to leave on a free transfer unless the North London outfit cashes on him in the winter transfer window. Having made 354 appearances in all competitions for the club, Ramsey is now on the verge of leaving the club.
The 28-year-old Welshman has been a big influence on the team and captains the team in the absence of Laurent Koscielny. Replacing a player of Ramsey's caliber is always tough but Emery has to find a proper replacement in January or at least in the summer.
Here are the four players who would fill the void left by Welshman.

#4 Adrien Rabiot
Adrien Rabiot rose to prominence under Unai Emery. The 23-year-old is a tall midfielder who can dictate the game at his pace and has the capability to read the game. Adrien Rabiot is out of contract at the end of the season and is not likely to sign a new contract with the French champions, Paris Saint Germain.
Having made 198 appearances for the French Side, Rabiot now seeks to ply his trade in another league. With Ramsey most likely to leave the Gunners, there could be a reunion to take place in London. Adrien Rabiot is a player who is capable enough to pull the strings in the heart of midfield. The Frenchman possesses a pass success percentage of 92%.
The French outfit would not like to see Rabiot leave on a free transfer in the summer and would be surely selling him in the winter. The €50m rated midfielder is said to have agreed on personal terms with the Spanish giants, Barcelona, but in order to get more playing time could see himself joining the Gunners instead.
#3 Andreas Pereira
Andreas Pereira has been trying to break into the Manchester United first team for some time now but has only been able to get playing time only of the bench. With the likes of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, and Fred it would be more difficult for the Brazilian to get regular playing time.
The 22-year-old needs regular game time in order to make a big name for himself and Arsenal would be a great destination for him.
Pereira is too out of contract in the summer of 2019 and would need to show his worth over the six months. If Arsenal could get a loan move for him it would be fruitful for both in the near future. The Brazilian is known for his technical and set-piece abilities.
The Red Devils would not sell a talent like Pereira but if Arsenal can crack a deal for the versatile midfielder, he can be a good replacement for the Welshman.
#2 David Brooks
David Brooks has had a dream start to his career in the premier league with The Cherries. Since coming to the premier league the 21-year-old has shown great potential and is one of the first names in the first eleven of the Cherries. He has bagged five goals and two assists for Bournemouth this season.
Still only 21, the Welshman shows great composure on the ball and has an eye to pick passes in tight areas too. Eddie Howe has been full of praises for the 21-year-old saying he is 'excited' to see the summer signing prosper. David Brooks has a contract with the Cherries until the summer of 2022 and so any team would have to shed a huge amount of cash for the youngster.
If the North London outfit is to sign him in the summer, they'll have to pay some serious cash. Although he is still young, he would prove to be a worthy replacement for Aaron Ramsey. With age on his side, he can go on to become a well-known midfielder.
#1 Abdoulaye Doucouré
Abdoulaye Doucouré has been in tremendous form for Watford since the last season. A player, who is considered as an engine in the midfield for his side, has grown his reputation in the premier league. Doucouré is a strong midfielder who has an excellent work rate and has a pass success percentage of 83%.
A player who can play as a deep-lying midfielder and as an attacking midfielder is always an asset for any team and Abdoulaye Doucouré plays both the roles splendidly. The 25-year-old midfielder has three goals and five assists to his name in 20 appearances this season. The Frenchman is not shy of tackles, averaging 2.3 tackles per game.
The €30m rated midfielder can prove to be a better midfielder in the Arsenal side with the likes of Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka playing alongside. It would be hard to get his signature as Paris Saint Germain are rumored to launch a €45m bid in order to replace Adrien Rabiot.
