#1 Paco Alcácer
The reason Barcelona signed Paco Alcacer in August 2016 was that the club needed a back-up striker and the former Valencia striker was seen as the right mix in character and quality to fill that role. Hence, La Blaugrana forked out €30 million to sign the Spaniard on a five-year deal.
His stay in Catalonia has obviously been successful in terms of silverware as he has won one league title and two Copa del Reys, but the problem emerges when the topic of individual contribution comes to the fore.
Alcacer has made exactly 50 appearances in the two seasons he has whiled away at the club, with most of them being as a substitute, notching up 15 goals in the process. All the same, the 24-year-old merits more game time in accordance with his talent, which hasn't been displayed at Barcelona.
