Emmanuel Adebayor
The Togolese striker has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane with the partnership of Jermain Defoe and Roberto Solado being preferred by manager Andre Villas Boas. The 29-year-old was previously Tottenham’s top scorer but has found opportunities hard to come by since the summer.
Reports suggest that the London club are keen to cash in on Adebayor and use the funds from his sale to acquire the services of Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez. The former Arsenal man has had offers from other leagues and may quit the club for more first team football.
