Manchester United v West Ham United - Premier League
Matic adds a calmness to the middle of the park that flows through the team. Matic also knows how to win, he has won 100 of the 159 games he has played in the Premier League.

Last season, Matic had 36 appearances in the league. Only David De Gea with 37 appearances had featured in more games than the Serbian f the Red Devils. Matic played a total of 3119 minutes. Once again, De Gea with 3330 minutes was the only one in the team who played more than the Serbian.
Lukaku, with 2869 minutes was next on that list. Pogba, with 2151 minutes was the next midfielder on the list. It shows the importance of Matic in this team last season. Matic was the first name in the team sheet when fit, he is Mourinho’s midfield general and he was indispensable to the Manchester United team last season.

Unfortunately, the Serbian has been sidelined with an injury since the end of the World Cup and has missed all the preseason games and the first two Premier League games of the 2018/19 season.
Having to cope with his absence since preseason has been United’s biggest setback this season, and United are understandably desperate to have him back. They need his steel, his controlled aggression, his passing fluidity in the team, but more than anything else, they need his presence in the team.
United need Nemanja Matic back to be a team again and get their season running.

Deepungsu holds a PG degree in Microbiology and an MBA degree in Total Quality Management. He has an extensive two-decade long writing experience, which includes a decade of sports blogging. His writing prowess has even led his work getting cited on the legendary Franz Beckenbauer's Wikipedia page.
Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
