Manchester United is famous for many legendary players wearing the number 7 shirt - George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo. Should Mbappe join Manchester United, his name could be the next. Something every footballer should want. At least it was like that before.

Unfortunately, Ronaldo's departure in 2009 has seemingly cursed the number 7 as no player has since succeeded in the Manchester club wearing it, including proven stars such as Angel Di Maria, Michael Owen and Alexis Sanchez.
