Lots of Germans are being linked with a move to Anfield ever since Jurgen Klopp took charge at the club and Timo Werner is one of those players whose name is regularly discussed among the Anfield faithful since the past one year.
Quick, hard-working and technically sound, Timo Werner ticks all the major boxes to play under Jurgen Klopp. Indeed, the young German is a like-to-like backup option for Roberto Firmino. His ability to play as a winger will help Liverpool rotate more efficiently and moreover, he is also capable of feeding the front-line by playing just behind the striker.
The 22-year-old scored 12 Bundesliga goals this season, which is the most among any RB Leipzig player playing this year. He also managed to score a combined tally of seven goals in the Champions League and Europa League.
The young German is linked with a move to Anfield since the past few months but the Reds will need to pay a hefty amount of money to see Werner join the team.
