A return home makes sense for the Spaniard at the moment
Barcelona's best solution to their midfield crisis could finally come from their own famous academy, La Masia. In a world where big-money signings are failing to adapt to their new clubs, it would be a wise decision for the Blaugrana to consider signing one of their own products - Thiago Alcantara.

Alcantara was one of the most talented youngsters in the world when he graduated from La Masia and made it into Barcelona's first team in 2009. However, he spent only 4 years at the Camp Nou before joining Pep Guardiola in securing a move to Bayern Munich in 2013.
In the Bundesliga, the Spaniard established himself as one of the finest midfielders in Europe, putting up excellent displays for the Bavarians and earning recognition across the continent. After spending 5 years, Thiago's days in Germany seem numbered, with the player recently hinting at a return to his homeland.
Thiago wouldn't have adaptation problems due to his vast knowledge and understanding of the tiki-taka system. Besides, his relationship with the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Gerard Pique could be of great advantage to the Blaugrana.
