#1 The front three starting the season off in style
The shining light for Liverpool last season has undoubtedly been their attack. Possibly the greatest in the entirety of Europe, the Reds have been unstoppable in front of goal, showing immense skill and quality when facing opposition defenders. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino will all be itching to get on the Anfield pitch and play some competitive football again, after all three suffered some form of disappointment in Russia, one way or the other.
The three of them scored a total of close to 90 goals for the Reds in all competitions last season will want to match this great tally, if not better it. None of them has shown any signs of a World Cup hangover or any rust when they took to the field against the likes of Manchester City, Napoli and Torino. All three of them scored goals in pre-season and will look to take West Ham to the sword in the opening game. This is an opportunity for all three to start the season in a great way after each of them scored in last season's opener at Watford.
West Ham is in a transitional period, with a new manager and a whole host of new signings. They may take some time to gel as a team and Liverpool, particularly the front three, will want to take advantage. Add in the potential service from Naby Keita and this trio has gotten even more frightening this season. The way Jurgen Klopp sets his team up, you cannot really go much wrong with the current options. Occupying the 9, 10 and 11 jerseys now, Liverpool's terrific triumvirate is set to light up the Premier League once again this season.
