Pep Guardiola made his impact felt in the division, with his possession based and pro-attacking system proving quite unmatchable throughout the campaign.
The Cityzens made history in the competition, becoming the first club to win the highly decorated Premier League title with a whopping 100 points. Out of the total 38 matches they played last term, Pep Guardiola's men won 32, drew 4, and lost only 2.
As well as being the most prolific team with 106 goals in the English top flight, Manchester City also had the best defensive record in the division, conceding just 27 goals throughout the campaign. That's dominance!
