This time Chelsea met Barcelona in the semifinals of the Champions League. The hosts won 1-0 at the Stamford Bridge in what was Barcelona's first loss of the season. Later, Chelsea went on to beat Bayern Munich in the final of Champions League to lift the title.
Barcelona, as usual, dominated the possession. With 72% possession, Barcelona controlled the game but Chelsea had the final say owing to their pace on the counter. Their organization at the back paid off as they were successful in keeping Lionel Messi and company at bay.
