#2 N'Golo Kante
Arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world, N'Golo Kante has played a huge role in the success of Leicester City, Chelsea, and France national team in the past few years.
A victim of Maurizio Sarri’s tactics, Kante hasn't been at his best this season. Regarded a lot for his hard work and defensive aspects of the game, Kante is the best in the world when it comes to cutting out opposition attacks, intercept passes, and tackles.
He has been lauded for his abilities to win the ball in the midfield, positional awareness, and ability to read the game. He averages 3.6 tackles per game throughout his professional career and certainly the best in his position.
Casemiro is some way off his best this season and Zidane needs a player of Kante's abilities to steady the ship in the middle of the park.
