Both teams clashed at Santiago Bernabeu and it initially looked as though the Parisians would get the better of their opponents after dominating the proceedings and going ahead in the 33rd minute via an Adrien Rabiot's effort.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo had other ideas, pulling one back in the 45th minute before adding another in the 83rd to bring Los Blancos back to life and give them a special momentum. Marcelo scored the final goal of the game as they defeated the Ligue 1 giants 3-1 to save their season.
