#3 Jamie Vardy - Leicester City
The joint-top scorer in the Premier League right now, Jamie Vardy, has continued to perform at an exceptional level. The Englishman is aging like a fine wine and just seems to be getting better and better as the years pass by.
Leicester City have not had the best of starts to the 2021-22 Premier League campaign. The Foxes have won only two of their seven league games and sit 13th in the league table.
But Vardy has continued to impress in front of goal and has managed to register six goals and one assist in the Premier League so far. If not for Leicester's leaky defense, Vardy's goals would have definitely earned many more points for the Foxes than they currently have.
Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to sort out Leicester's defensive problems soon. If Rodgers manages to do that and Vardy continues his brilliant form in front of goal, Leicester could become a force in the Premier League again.
#2 Michail Antonio - West Ham United
West Ham's talisman Michail Antonio has been absolutely brilliant for the Hammers in the Premier League this season. The Jamaican, who has never scored more than 10 goals in a season, seems on course to break that record.
The 30-year-old has scored five goals and registered three assists in just six league games for the Hammers. The forward also became the club's all-time leading Premier League goalscorer with 48 goals, surpassing Paolo Di Canio.
Antonio deservedly grabbed the Premier League Player of the Month award for August after he registered four goals and three assists in the first three games.
The 31-year-old has been a force in the final third for West Ham and his composure inside the box has also been commendable. He will be hoping to continue his incredible form and finally surpass the 10-goal tally that he has been unable to do so far.
#1 Mohamed Salah - Liverpool
Mohamed Salah is arguably the best player in football right now. Fresh from a summer of rest while other Premier League players were involved in international tournaments, Salah has raced to six goals and three assists in just seven league games. He is the joint-top scorer along with Jamie Vardy.
Furthermore, the Egyptian has also registered three goals in the Champions League, taking his total tally to nine goals and three assists in nine games across all competitions.
His goal against Manchester City was an absolute treat to watch as he dribbled past multiple City defenders before firing his left-footed shot past Ederson.
So far, Salah has failed to score in only one match, Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Burnley at Anfield. Since then, the 29-year-old has netted in seven consecutive matches.
Salah also became the fourth-fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals after his strike against Leeds in September. He also reached 100 Premier League goals for Liverpool after his strike in the 3-3 draw against Brentford.
After four brilliant years at Liverpool, Salah has somehow managed to take his game further up a notch. If he continues in such devastating form, the Reds will definitely be the favorites to win the Premier League this season.
