#3. Kevin Trapp - Eintracht Frankfurt
It has been a season of the renaissance for the 28-year-old PSG loanee. Trapp had long been used as the second choice keeper at the Parc des Prances since the emergence of Alphonse Areola and the arrival of Italian legend Gigi Buffon signaled the end for him at the Parisian club.
Trapp made his return to Eintracht Frankfurt following that and has been sensational ever since. The 28-year old has made 33 appearances for Frankfurt this season and is second in the list for most shots saved in the league (124).
The German international has also kept 6 clean sheets and leaked in 48 goals.
#2. Yann Sommer - Borussia Monchengladbach
One of the most consistent goalkeepers in the Bundesliga, Yann Sommer has once again shown why he is regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in the league. The Swiss international has been in good form this season.
Sommer started all the 34 league matches for Die Fohlen and ranks fifth in the list of most shots saved in the league with 115. The 30-year old has kept 12 clean sheets in the league this season and has leaked in just 42 goals.
#1.Peter Gulasci (RB Leipzig)
It's no surprise that the goalkeeper of the meanest defence in the Bundesliga this season is selected as the team of the season goalkeeper. Peter Gulasci has been scintillating form all season, conceding just 27 goals (averaging a goal conceded every 108 minutes).
The Hungarian has started 33 of the 34 leagues matches and saved 93 shots on target (10th in the list of all shots stopped) and keeping 16 clean sheets, the most in the league.
