Ashley Young returned to his old club Watford where he spent his youth and took the game by the horns scoring twice as Manchester United won the game 4-2, but it wasn't as comfortable as the scoreline suggests.

Jose Mourinho's team raced into a 3-0 lead in the first 30 minutes of the game and the manager was quoted as saying, United "should have been smoking cigars" in their Premier League victory over Watford.

The former Aston Villa winger started the game in fine form opening the scoring in the 19th minute with a fierce half volley on the edge of the box from a Jesse Lingard pass, with the ball flying into the bottom corner against a helpless Heurelho Gomes.

A game Manchester United should have won comfortably, the fans found it becoming nervy in the second half when Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure brought the game back to 3-2 in the 84th minute. Jesse Lingard made sure Mourinho's men collected the three points two minutes later when he netted United's fourth of the night.
