Manchester City have played some beautiful football this season. While the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Sergio Aguero usually run away with all the plaudits, one man who has been equally crucial and vital to their excellent performances this season is Fernandinho.

The 32-year-old Brazilian has been one of City's most dynamic players this season, covering almost all areas of the field and never allowing opposition players to rest on the ball. Primarily playing as a defensive midfielder, the City man is not too shabby on the ball as well and is always capable of setting up attacks with his wonderful passes.

With 3 goals and 3 assists this season, Fernandinho is arguably the best and most complete defensive midfielder in the Premier League at the moment and Pep Guardiola will be hoping that the Brazilian continues his good form till the end of the season.
