Manchester City have played some beautiful and elegant football this season and perhaps the person who most epitmoises the City style of play this season is 32-year-old Spanish midfielder, David Silva.

The former Valencia man has been simply superb this season, dictating play with his intelligent and incisive passing. In just 21 appearances in the Premier League, Silva has already got 8 assists and scored 5 goals making him one of the most productive players in this free-flowing City side.

While most players usually slow down after 30, Silva is arguably having his best ever Premier League season. Easily the second best midfielder in the league after Kevin De Bruyne, Silva edges out both Iniesta and Modric as the best (above 30) midfielder in the world right now.
