One of the few players to play for both Real Madrid and Barcelona, Luis Figo joined Los Blancos in 2000 for a then-world record fee of £37.2 million.
Known for his creativity and dribbling abilities, Figo won the prestigious Ballon d'Or award in 2000 and was also awarded the FIFA World Player of the Year accolade in 2001.
The former Portuguese international played 164 La Liga games for Real Madrid, scoring 38 goals. He won two La Liga titles, two Supercopa de España, one UEFA Champions League, one intercontinental cup, and one UEFA Super Cups with the Spanish giants.
Figo left Real Madrid to join the Italian side, Inter Milan before hanging up his boots after spending four seasons with the club 2009.
