#1 Manchester United
A move to Manchester United to link up with the man who brought him back to the Premier League might just be the perfect move for Fabregas and Manchester United. There has been some speculation surrounding Fabregas and a move a to Old Trafford especially considering how important a role he played while at Stamford Bridge under current Man Utd manager Joe Mourinho.
Man Utd need to add quality to their central positions that is no secret, and to get Cesc Fabregas to Old Trafford, at this stage would have to be considered a major coup. He would bring so much more than what the current crop of midfielders at the club, and would actually be able to control a game from that area.
The criticism of Fabregas over the last couple of seasons has been that he does not have the legs to play a high pressing, high tempo game a style that Jose Mourinho insists not to play anyway. The option to play Fabregas alongside World cup winner Paul Pogba and perhaps Fred or previous team-mate Nemanja Matic would add so much extra quality for this current Mourinho team.
Fabregas would be a massive benefit to the Manchester United attackers creating chances and opening up defences, with his quality of passing. A move to Old Trafford would not hurt the club financially and would certainly bring more positives than what we have seen so far this season under Mourinho.
Manchester United should consider a move in January to lure the midfielder to Old Trafford to help boost their chances of a top-four finish. If the club waits till Fabregas is a free agent they might not be in the position of Champions League football, and furthermore, would they have the lure of Jose Mourinho to help make the move?
For English football they must hope that one of the big five clubs can sanction a move to keep Fabregas playing in the Premier League, he will not be short of options once January comes and clubs from across Europe can attempt to sign the serial winning midfielder.
