It is surprising to see Loris Karius struggling in his early days at Liverpool after his big move from Mainz last summer but his quality is unquestionable. Still just 23 years of age, the German has what it takes to come back strong in the future.
Karius had a solid reputation in Bundesliga before joining Liverpool in the summer. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp bought him as a first-choice over Simon Mignolet but the youngster had to wait for his chance as he missed the start of the season due to an injury.

Mignolet had a run of poor games which prompted the Liverpool manager to replace him with Karius, but the German lost his place after two bad games. Since then, the German goalkeeper has impressed in the Cup games while Mignolet has been as erratic as ever.
Adjusting to the Premier League takes time for even the best of the players. Even David de Gea – who is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, if not the best – had troubles in his early days at Old Trafford.
Karius, therefore, makes our list despite not enjoying his best season.

Snehanjan developed an interest in football at a very young age, thanks to his father watching football on TV. His favorite player is club legend Steven Gerrard and his favorite manager is another legend in Jurgen Klopp. The ‘Miracle of Istanbul’ i.e., Liverpool beating AC Milan in the 2005 UEFA Champions League final left an indelible mark on him. He believes that Liverpool is a family unlike other top clubs, which sets them apart.
Snehanjan also follows Indian Super League and the I-League, although the latter is closer to his heart. If he could change a rule in football, it would be VAR not pointing out mistakes of on-field officials unless they are clear and obvious errors. Outside the football world, Snehanjan likes to explore the various genres of music and watch movies and shows on OTT. He’s also a car enthusiast and likes to follow the automobile world.
