#3 Reece James - Chelsea
Reece James might have already made an impression last season, but the Chelsea right-back has firmly established himself as a first-choice starter under Frank Lampard this time around.
After a sensational loan spell with Wigan Athletic two seasons ago, there was a lot of buzz around James as he returned to Stamford Bridge with a lot of expectation on his young shoulders.
It's safe to say he's grown quite a bit as a player in the past few months, with the Englishman quickly becoming a key player for club and country. Known for his tenacious defending and inch-perfect crosses, James has chipped in with defining contributions on both ends of the pitch for Chelsea this season.
Lampard has handed opportunities for a lot of young players in his Chelsea career so far, and James has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the former Blues skipper trust in the academy.
#2 Pedro Neto - Wolverhampton Wanderers
Pedro Neto's rise to stardom has been quite the story in the past 12 months. Signed as an exciting young player, the Portuguese star has slowly come into his own this season and become a key player for Nuno Espirito Santo.
With Raul Jimenez sidelined and Diogo Jota plying his trade for Liverpool, the goalscoring burden has fallen on young Neto's shoulders.
So far though, he has stood up to the task and delivered a series of top-class displays. A pacy winger with a wand of a left foot in him, Neto produced a Man-of-the-Match display in Wolves' famous 2-1 victory against Chelsea as he stole the show with a stunning strike in stoppage time.
Wolves' Portuguese revolution seems to be bearing fruit again, and Neto's emergence is further proof that their project is headed in the right direction.
#1 Curtis Jones - Liverpool
Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool have been ravaged by injuries this season. While Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are seemingly out for the rest of the season, the likes of Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and new signing Thiago Alcantara have struggled to stay fit for prolonged periods.
Liverpool's paper-thin midfield, however, has been boosted by the emergence of young Curtis Jones. The boyhood Scouser has shown, in his short career with the senior side, that he is destined for the top, having played a pivotal role for the Reds so far this season.
Jones famously announced himself with a stunning goal for Liverpool in the Merseyside derby in a cup game, but his performances for the Reds in the Premier League this season have been mature beyond his years.
The 19-year-old midfielder has all the necessary tools to become a key player for the club in the coming years and is already a massive part of Jurgen Klopp's plans going forward.
