On a day that saw Arsene Wenger final visit at the Goodison Park as an Arsenal manager, the Gunners hammered five past the sorry Toffees to send them into the relegation zone.
The game started with returning homeboy Wayne Rooney, evoking memories of his famous goal against Arsenal that made the then teenager a household name in England, scoring in the 12th minute to give the lead for Everton.
The lead was equalised by Spanish defender Nacho Monreal who scored in the 40th minute to make it 1-1.
A goal scoring spree soon followed as Mesut Ozil scored in the 53rd minute to make it 2-1 before Lacazette made it three in the 74th minute after Idrissa Gueye was sent off for the Toffees in the 68th minute for a second yellow card.
Ramsey them scored in the 90th minute to make it four before Niasse scored a consolation goal to make it 4-2.
Alexis Sanchez then scored in the fifth minute of injury time in what was his final goal as an Arsenal player in Goodison Park to end the game 5-2 in favour of Arsenal.
