#3 Steven Bergwijn to Ajax
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs that are looking to offload some players this month. Both Steven Bergwijn and Tanguy Ndombele have been put on sale. While Bergwijn is reportedly close to sealing a move to Ajax, Ndomele is still far from finding a potential suitor.
Ajax have reportedly already submitted an offer to sign Bergwijn on a permanent deal this month. However, they are yet to agree a fee with Tottenham Hotspur, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Ndombele's torrid stint at Spurs does not seem to be getting any better. He was booed off the ground in their labored 3-1 win over Morecambe on Sunday. Spurs are actively looking to find a buyer but there's nothing happening on that front just yet.
Bergwijn has also largely failed to impress since joining the club in 2020. In 64 games across all competitions for Spurs, he has scored just five goals and provided 10 assists.
#2 Anthony Martial to Sevilla
Ralf Rangnick confirmed in the last week of December that Anthony Martial has asked to leave Manchester United. The Frenchman has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford in recent times. He has not made the best use of the opportunities given to him in the last couple of seasons.
Due to a lack of game time, he wants to move to another club. According to reports, Sevilla are set to table a new offer for Martial. It was widely reported last week that Martial favours a move to Sevilla over other potential suitors. The Red Devils have reportedly already rejected a loan deal for Martial.
In 268 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions, the 26-year-old has scored 79 goals and provided 50 assists.
#1 Aaron Ramsey to Newcastle United
Juventus are keen to offload midfielder Aaron Ramsey this month. The Welshman reportedly pockets in excess of €300,000-per-week in wages and his contributions have simply not been up to that standard.
Newcastle United are keen to rope him in. Crystal Palace are reportedly in the race to sign him as well. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri confirmed last week that Ramsey is set to leave the club. At a pre-match press conference, he said:
"Aaron Ramsey returned today after his leave to work in England but he is an outgoing player.”
Ramsey was brilliant for Arsenal but he hasn't been able to replicate those heroics at Juventus. In 70 appearances across all competitions for the Bianconeri, Ramsey has scored just six goals and provided six assists.
His experience and technical qualities could be of great use to Newcastle United, who are looking to crawl out of the relegation zone in the second half of the season.
