Roberto Firmino was the brightest Brazilian in the Premier League during the 2017/2018 season. He is also one of the most impressive players in the UEFA Champions League this term, playing an influential role as Liverpool made it to the final of the competition.
Like many other Brazilians on the continent during the campaign, Firmino has also had an impressive season. The attacker is one of the top scorers in the European tournament this term with 10 goals to his name. He also bagged 15 goals and 7 assists to help Liverpool finish fourth on the Premier League table.
The 26-year old had one of the best conversion rates in Europe during the season, converting up to 20% of his total 124 shots in both the Champions League and the English top flight.
The Brazilian will be looking forward to taking his incredible form to the World Cup next month as the Selecao will be counting on him to produce outstanding performances in Russia.
