#3 Leeds United
On the final day of last season, Marcelo Bielsa was among the crowd during the Bournemouth vs Everton match. The Argentine manager was scouting potential recruits to Leeds United following their return to the Premier League.
Bielsa's system requires players to outplay and outwork the opposition teams rather than sitting back and looking to counter. It also requires players to work their socks off every day.
Last season, Leeds United's existing right-winger, Helder Costa, was incredible for Bielsa. However, that doesn't mean he would enjoy the same form in the Premier League.
David Brooks' creative abilities and work ethics could easily fit at Elland Road. The 23-year-old fits Bielsa's profile of a creative winger who is willing to go and up down the pitch throughout a game. Moreover, he is a proven Premier League talent and a player who is yet to reach his prime.
Under the tutelage of the Argentine, David Brooks could well become one of the most feared wingers in the Premier League.
#4 Manchester United
If Manchester United sign David Brooks, it would not mean that he is an alternative to Jadon Sancho. However, the transfer could help the Red Devils address one of their major issues in the last couple of seasons - a lack of quality on their bench. One look at their Europa League semi-final against Sevilla reveals this staggering fact.
Brooks could certainly raise the quality of the squad and compete with anyone for a regular starting berth. On his part, there is no bigger dream than playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and his nation. The Bournemouth star has achieved the latter, and a move to Manchester could fulfil the former.
#5 Newcastle United
Newcastle United are in dire need of major reinforcements in the attacking department. Last season, the Magpies were visibly struggling up front with none of their attacking threats, other than Miguel Almiron, capable of scoring more than five goals.
In fact, Newcastle United scored just 50 goals in all competitions in almost 50 games. The most alarming factor for the side was that out of the 50 goals, 11 came against teams playing in the lower divisions. The misfiring strike force and inconsistent wingers have been the root cause of their lack of goals.
Apart from Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin, much of the Newcastle attack has been pretty much poor. The club's new signings have failed to adjust while the new No.9 Joelinton is still adapting himself to the Premier League.
When you add a player of the calibre of David Brooks, however, the overall attacking quality of the team will almost instantly improve. The Wales international could also be the key to unlocking Joelinton while his goalscoring prowess would also help lessen the pressure on the side's forwards.
With Premier League experience on his side, David Brooks would also not need time to adjust to the pressures of the English top flight.
