Barcelona could spend big once again as some of their summer signings have struggled

The Catalan giants are having an internal crisis at the moment. They have failed to move on after the exit of Xavi and an ageing Andres Iniesta isn't helping their cause well enough. They've not been razor-sharp and have been caught a few times in the past in recent times against big opponents.

The likes of Andre Gomes, Paco Alcacer, Lucas Digne have failed to live up to expectations while Jordi Alba has been inconsistent. There could be an exodus in the summer with defence and holding midfield being an absolute priority for the next coach who'll be announced by the club in the days to come.

A club in transition, it is expected they'll shell out as much as possible to plug as many holes as they can to regain superiority in the league and in Europe as well.
