#1 Juventus, €221.9 million*
The Serie A giants pulled the biggest deal of the summer transfer window when they signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for a fee of around £105 million. They have also signed Joao Cancelo from Valencia for a fee of £36 million. Also, they have made Douglas Costa’s loan deal a permanent one for £36 million.
Though they have allowed Gonzalo Higuain to leave the club, they brought back Leonardo Bonucci. They are the only club to spend in excess of £200 million this season. Bonucci’s arrival took their total spending to £231 million in the current transfer window so far. Juventus and Allegri have assembled one of the strongest squads in European football at the moment.
*Bonucci's fee not included in €221.9 million since it is a straight swap deal.
