#3 Anthony Martial (50 assists)
Manchester United have some amazing forwards at their disposal. Anthony Martial could be considered one of them but for some reason, the Frenchman hasn't been doing well since last season.
One of the biggest problems with Anthony Martial has been his attitude and approach to the game. The French forward has been found guilty of taking a lethargic approach to his game and lacked the intensity needed on the pitch. That being said, the former AS Monaco winger has contributed significantly in goals over the six seasons he has been with the Red Devils.
To date, Martial has assisted in 50 goals. With his amazing dribbling and nimble footwork, the 25-year old has the ability to beat players and create goals. If he manages to turn his form around this season, it could be of massive help to Manchester United.
#2 Marcus Rashford (56 assists)
Manchester United have had some fine players coming through their ranks in the recent past and Marcus Rashford is one of them. The Englishman has been a delight to watch with his blistering pace and ability to ruffle the opponents from the wide areas.
In his United career so far, Rashford has been most effective when playing as a left-winger. His dribbling and close control allows him to beat and distract defenders. At the age of 23, the English forward has become a very important player for Manchester United and it speaks volumes of the talents he possesses.
To date, Rashford has had 56 assists to his name. With seven more assists he can surpass Antonio Valencia and Eric Cantona in the all-time assists chart. This is destined to happen and it could possibly happen this season itself.
#1 Cristiano Ronaldo (69 assists)
There is almost nothing that Cristiano Ronaldo cannot do on a football pitch. The Portuguese has been a sensation for more than 15 years now and is still going so strong with his game.
In his early days, Ronaldo was a monster on the wings with his mind-boggling dribbling skills and nimble footwork. Toying with the defender was an easy task for him and he used to do it with utter ease. Over time, the Portugal captain has transitioned into the striker role and preferred to play centrally.
That does not mean that he's not capable of assisting goals anymore. He's still a big threat in the attack, whether it's to score or to create goals. To date, he has recorded 69 assists for Manchester United and will be looking to add a few more in his second spell with the Premier League giants.
